The Commission met with the Department of Geospatial and Space Technology, University of Nairobi, who had paid a courtesy call. The purpose of the meeting was to explore collaboration opportunities, particularly in areas of electoral mapping and research.

The meeting which was chaired by Deputy Commission Secretary for Operations, Ruth Kulundu, proposed a number areas of collaboration, including joint research, policy reviews and analysis.

Additionally, the parties explored the development of electoral tactile maps, which would enable individuals with visual impairments to access and utilize them effectively.
